Splashball

Designed for kids 5-9, Splashball will provide the novice player with all the FUN-damentals of Water Polo while developing the essentials of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Our Splashball will use flotation, shallow side of the Dillon Gymnasium pool and other kid-friendly elements to allow players to graduate to a friendly version of water polo directly from beginning swim lessons.

Kids can begin wearing any type swimwear they want, including board shorts or “jammers.”  They can also use flotation devices like vests or noodles, and they can bounce off the bottom of the pool.  The game allows them to build their skills in a safe, supervised aquatic environment.

Splashball will help to create a water-safe child in a fun setting, effortlessly learning swimming and water safety principals as part of the Splashball coaching technique.

We are happy to offer a Splashball via Tigers Aquatics Water Polo! Program cost for 2011-2012 season is $350 per session. Siblings discounts will apply.

Athletes wishing to play Splashball will need to sign up with USA Water Polo for $25 for a calendar year. All Splashball members will become part of the water polo community, receive a Splashball Festival invitation and a secondary insurance coverage.Tigers Aquatics Water Polo Club ID is 17668.
